About Us
Established in 1979, Bal Kalyan Sanstha, Pune stands as a unique institution dedicated to the holistic welfare of individuals with diverse abilities. Our mission is to empower Divyang individuals by nurturing their talents and fostering self-reliance. In 2009, our organization was honored with the prestigious NATIONAL AWARD 2009 FOR THE EMPOWERMENT OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES, presented by the esteemed Smt. Pratibha Patil, the former President of India, in recognition of our pioneering efforts in uplifting the Divyang community. Our approach is structured in three phases: firstly, providing foundational education to Divyang individuals across various disability segments. Secondly, focusing on robust character development and instilling confidence in their personalities. Finally, we are committed to instilling a sense of independence, facilitating the rehabilitation of Divyang individuals, and ensuring their meaningful integration into public, private, and corporate sectors.

Making every Divyang self-reliant. We believe in supporting these children with their overall development along with education, so they can explore real employment opportunities, giving them adequate revenue to be independent.
Facilities
Situated adjacent to Raj Bhavan, Pune our center, generously allocated land by Raj Bhavan, offers recreational & sporting opportunities to over 4000+ students from 85 special schools, all at no cost. Our dedicated Recreational & Cultural Center specializes in sports, art&craft, providing a range of activities including drawing, painting, music, dance, swimming, gymnastics, physical training, pottery, computer training, & therapy services.
Counselling Centre
Instilling parental confidence is integral to the rehabilitation of the disabled. Hence, we provide an esteemed Counselling Centre with experienced professionals, available on demand
REHABILITATION
We strive to place the special children and youth to at least some respectable position in the society and make them self sufficient. Institute is well equipped with proper methods of attaining it.
